Sean and Erin met on a dating website and went on their first date in March of 2020. A couple years later, Sean proposed!
The proposal was a complete surprise. Erin’s parents were in town visiting her in Chicago and planned to go to a local brewery while Sean claimed to be at the Cub’s game all day. Erin and her parents met up with a few friends for drinks then headed out to see a band playing at a place next to a restaurant called Stockholm’s. Once the group entered Stockholm’s, Erin saw Sean’s uncle and Dad sitting at a table but didn’t find it suspicious, especially since it was his dad’s favorite place. As Erin walked over to say hello, she turned around and surprisingly, Sean was there! She still didn’t have a clue what was happening, however, when she went to hug him, he got down on one knee. The rest, without a doubt, is history!
